Our organization has dedicated over 30 years to enabling Slovenians in Canada and abroad to connect and share their business expertise. We strive to call attention to relevant events, business seminars, networking events and opportunities to develop your business further.
This new decade has presented the world with many challenges and as entrepreneurs and business leaders, we have had to learn, adapt and open our eyes to new opportunities. It has also been in our best interest to look to our network, areas where we have common ground to begin the conversations, the sharing of ideas, and the helping hand to guide us to the solutions. We will continue to make the Canadian Slovenian Chamber of Commerce even more responsive to your business needs and connect you with the most up-to-date information and opportunities from the Slovenian business world: Canada, Slovenia and abroad.
As CETA (Canada-EU agreement) has opened the door for exciting new commerce opportunities, the Canadian Slovenian Chamber of Commerce is evolving into a place for you to share ideas, network, or engage in trade or investment.
Since its establishment in 1990, The Chamber’s main objectives are as follows:
- To serve as a voice of the Canadian Slovenian business community,
- To foster and promote trade, commerce, industry and investment among business people, firms and corporations, with specific emphasis on the Canadian Slovenian aspect,
- To study and analyze trends and developments affecting the Canadian Slovenian business community,
- To conduct group seminars and discussions on trade and commerce and issues of interest to the Canadian Slovenian business community,
- To provide a forum for the Canadian Slovenian business community to develop options and programs which contribute to the social, economic and physical quality of life in Canada,
- To facilitate business and social contacts among its members,
- To foster and promote trade, industry and investment among business people, firms and corporations from Slovenia and Canada and to develop and improve economic, commercial and industrial relations between Slovenia and Canada.
